Hello!
Taurus the Bull is one of the oldest Constellations. we can find it mentioned by the ancient Babylonians and the Sumerians dating around 2000 BC.
The Mesopotamians pictured Taurus as the mythical 'Bull of Heaven', associated with the Goddess Istar and the hero Gilgamesh.
There are several Greek myths of Taurus as being the bull of King Minos of Crete, that he kept in his labyrinth.
The Greek hereo Theseus was said to have slain the bull, though in the heavens, Orion is pictured as facing the charging bull.
The 'Pleaides', or 'Seven Sisters' can be found on Taurus's shoulder. The Hyades starcluster forms a V-shape of six stars within the forehead of the bull. They are daughters of Atlas, sisters of the Pleiades.
